Potty Time

Sunday evening we tried to get Zach to use the potty. I was getting him ready for bed and realized that even though I hadn’t changed him in hours and he had been drinking milk, water, and juice like crazy all evening, his diaper was completely dry. So I asked him if he needed to go potty and he said I need potty now. I rushed him to the potty and he happily sat down with a book. He must have sat on there for 15-20 minutes and finally I gave up and put him in a diaper and finished getting him ready for bed. By the time I finished getting him ready for bed he had filled his diaper and needed to be changed. I’m so frustrated. It’s obvious that he can control when he goes, He just refuses to use the potty. At least he likes to sit on the potty.
