14 weeks pregnant.

Other than my quick post to announce my pregnancy I haven't had much to say about it. I'm currently 14 weeks along and even though I'm having twins I don't feel much different than I did when I was pregnant with my son. The biggest difference has been how tired I am all the time and that I still have nausea even now that I'm out of the first trimester.

I still don't look any different, but that is probably because I was heavy before I got pregnant so my belly fat is hiding any growth that is going on. Surprisingly I have actually lost weight since I get pregnant. I was down 9 lbs at my last doctors appt. Of course that was almost a month ago so we shall see what the scale says on Tuesday at my next appt. I know that everyone gains at their own pace but the lack of weight gain has me a little worried that something is wrong. However the doctor didn't seem worried last time so I guess it must be ok.

There is one other big difference between this pregnancy and my first one. I know many people will say that I'm crazy but I'm already feeling at least one of the babies move. Late at night when I'm laying in bed I get this weird sensation in my lower abdomen. It's hard to explain what it feels like. It's not kicks or thumps or even the flutters that all the books say that you should feel early on. The best way I can decribe it is a strong pressure in one spot and then a feeling of the baby sliding around. Last night was the strongest that I have felt it yet and it went on for over 20 minutes. I just lay there the whole time with a goofy grin on my face. I don't like most aspects of pregnancy but feeling the baby move is my favorite part. I will be glad when Keith can feel too, but for now it's nice to have my own little "secret".

Oh, I definitely don't think you're crazy for feeling them move so early. I SWEAR I started feeling movement at 11 weeks. It felt like something was turning over and flipping in there. Congrats on the twins! Looks like they're identical?

Glad to hear about someone else who felt movement early. What I'm feeling is exactly like you say, flipping and turning. Not sure if they are identical or not.
